Conventional dentistry often trades healthy tooth for a restoration: a crown needs the tooth ground down, and a root canal can follow. Biomimetic dentistry works the other way. Modern adhesives bond ceramic and composite to enamel and dentine, so a damaged tooth can be rebuilt to behave, and look, like the original.
Diagnose first: magnification, intra-oral scans, in-clinic CBCT and photographs before any recommendation.
Prevention and maintenance come first. Intervene only where it's needed.
When treatment is needed, remove as little as possible. Bond instead of cutting.

Most patients arrive with several problems at once: old crowns and fillings failing, teeth worn by grinding or acid, cracks that ache on biting. Rather than patch one tooth at a time, we plan the whole mouth together.

Instead of trays of impression putty, Dr Huson records your teeth with the DEXIS™ Imprevo intraoral scanner: a slim wand that captures a detailed, full-colour 3D model of your mouth.

- Precise. Highly accurate digital models for planning and for ceramic restorations designed to fit closely.
- See what we see. Your scan appears on screen in true colour, so Dr Huson can show you exactly what is happening and why.
- One scan, many uses. Your scan helps plan implants (together with a CBCT scan), clear aligner treatment, and lets us monitor tooth wear and tooth movement by comparing scans from different visits.
- Hygienic. The scanner tip is sterilised in an autoclave between patients.
